EconNewsLines works off a free public economic-calendar feed — no API key, no account, no subscription — and paints every scheduled release directly onto your price timeline as a dim, translucent vertical strip, color-coded by impact tier: red for high impact, orange for medium, yellow for low. Past events automatically fade further into the background, so recent history stays readable without cluttering what's ahead. The look is deliberately quiet: the strips sit behind price like soft bands of light rather than shouting lines, keeping your chart clean while the information stays impossible to miss.
A news desk, cornered into your chart. The built-in news table lists upcoming events with impact dots, local times, currencies, event names, and forecast/previous figures — plus a live countdown to the next release ("58m", "2h 58m"). The next high-impact event is highlighted automatically, so your eyes go straight to the one that matters. Move the table to any corner, size it from 3 to 15 rows, and toggle it on or off entirely — full control over what occupies your screen.
A warning before the storm. When a high-impact release is minutes away, a red warning card slides onto the chart with a live countdown and the event's forecast/previous values — and a one-click Dismiss button, because sometimes you do want to trade the release. Optional audio and popup alerts fire once per event, only when you're live, never in replay or historical data.
